If one listens to the average therapy simp, everyone should be in therapy. They’ll claim it helps people understand things like other people exist and have feelings, too. Nobody would doubt that’s an important thing to understand, but many of us would contest that it requires a therapist to understand that.

Just this month, researchers from the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival, a “lived-experience collective” have published the results of a survey (N=251) and an assessment tool based on the findings.
